This cheerful garden visitor has been sculpted first with a steel wire armature onto which recycled tin has been selected for colour, cut, sanded and hammered to shape before being soldered onto the framework. I thought it would be rather lovely to perch him onto one of my old terracotta flowerpots, it has seen many winters and I’m not sure it would survive another hard frost. So the bottom drainage hole has been sealed and the whole sculpture could now serve as a small desk tidy for pens and pencils, if you so wish. It is 19cm H x 15cm L x 13cm W
