Inspired by one of my favourite childhood books by John Steinbeck, this sculpture has a wire armature onto which I have ‘sewn’ pieces of recycled red tin chosen for its colour and cut to shape.

I have held on to this piece for a while but am happy to now let it trot off to a new home. It is for indoors as the tin would not brave the elements…it looks quite happy looking out of my window

it is 44cm H x 52cm L x 14cm W. The hooves have been strengthened with an epoxy putty
